Recovery Drill Walkthrough
Supervised practice restoring a wallet from backup material without exposing seeds online.
Purpose
Confirm that your backup words or metal plates actually produce the wallet you expect, using a spare device or factory-reset hardware wallet you supply.
Session flow
You enter backup material yourself in our review room. We observe procedure, timing, and whether derived addresses match your inventory sheet. A drill report notes pass/fail per wallet and recommended re-labeling.
Requirements
- Spare hardware wallet or device approved for reset
- Your backup material brought in person
- Completed inventory from a prior session or self-prepared list
We do not retain copies of backup material or session recordings.
